4th of July Week at Lake Pend O'Reille - Part 2

Day 3 - 5 Just relaxing, not much to report

July 1 - 3, 2012

The last few days have about the same pattern, relax and read our books with our AWFUL view.

Then, we hide from the spider that has come to take over the world...

Tennis is normally next up, here are the fierce competitors Kelly and Marissa.

Followed by more reading. Note the towel being used as a blanket, not as a towel. AZ people, it is definitely not hot here.

Actually, Kelly was perfectly warm. This is how she would be dressed in AZ too...

Just had to throw this in... Do you see a problem? Should it say watch for children and this sign? Lake goers I think you should keep your kids close to you...

The spider is still taunting us... But here are three nights of sunsets over the lake.

Kelly and MO kayaking in the sunset. Look at their perfect form... This is going to go on the front of Kelly's pamphlet for "Kayaking Lessons."

The very last bit of sunset but still so pretty. We really are so lucky to be here.

Tomorrow the fireworks over the lake are supposed to be amazing, don't be too jealous.

4th of July Week at Lake Pend O'Reille 2012

Day 1 - Fly to Missoula

Friday, June 29, 2012
Vacation is back. It has been way too long since the last week long vacation! One month, who can wait that long? To Malia's work friends dismay, she is off on another trip. A whole week in northern Idaho on the lake. It is going to be great!
We arrived to a full truck and a Kris Owen. And a delicious drink for the three hour ride to Hope, Idaho.
Here is a two shot view of the drive, that doesn't even come close to describing how beautiful it is...

Day 2 - First day waking up at the lake

Saturday, June 30, 2012
The view when you wake up at the condo. Yes, we will be spending lots of time in those loungers.

Like here... Pizza for dinner last night and lunch today.

Forrest and Nancy enjoying the lake view and look even the reflection in the window is gorgeous... Oh wait that's Malia!

Marissa, now what's that you are reading?

Look at Tom's new rod, he must have a great dad and uncle MO

And here is the line up of the first full day at the condo. This makes for a great day!

Ended the night the usual way with this family... Garbage

And maybe a few bedtime stories courtesy of Malia

So many more days of gorgeous weather to come at Lake Pend O'Reille
