Day 1 - Birthday Eve

Thanks to Laura (Christina's mom) watching Brielle, Justin and Christina were able to take a night off and go out on the strip with us. The cold weather/wind on the other hand kept us inside of Treasure Island and the Mirage. We tried to get a cab to take us to Caesar's Palace and the cabbie laughed at us and said it was too close.
So here's the only out door time we had that night and we were not dressed for it. It was Memorial Day weekend, it's not supposed to be cold!
Day 2 - Sharing a birthday with your big brother is pretty great!

The next day it was gorgeous! Happy Birthday to us! We were able to walk what the cabbie wouldn't drive to Caesar's.
When the tables were too expensive there, we walked across the street to Bill's. The tables were much more affordable and so were the drinks. Note to remember: in vegas, always gamble and drink at Bill's or one of the other older and less mainstreamed casinos.
Not sure if Justin was explaining something or about to karate chop Kelly behind him, but she and Christina seem to be sure enjoying those mimosas.
Here is Justin after birthday karma helped him win 150 bones! Now, that's a good birthday present...

The rest of our birthday was celebrated at Laura and Kim's. The food was amazing and so was the company. Plus, who would know that Vegas can be so pretty if you venture away from the strip a bit.
Should have got a picture of the mountain views they have, but here are Brielle and the other kiddos having fun in the jacuzzi... Close enough.

Laura and Kim, thank you so much. Not only for the birthday party, letting us stay with you, and the iTunes card (that has already proven very useful), but thank you SO much for being such a great new family for my big brother. You guys are great!
